We got picked up Wednesday, 6/12 at 3 a.m. As we were putting Lia in the car seat, she surprisingly woke up and screamed, "We're going to get Rosie!". During the whole flight, we didn't see the darkness of night. We arrived Thursday at 2 p.m. which was really 2 a.m. Thursday morn New York time.
Lia was quite charged up when we finally got off the plane in Shanghai! Check out the Big Sister shirt.
Baggage claim sign says Newark to Shanghai, flight 835.
Tomorrow we are touring Shanghai. Our guide is taking us to the Pearl TV Tower...On Monday, we meet Rosie at 9:30 at the SCH!
I tried to read part of this post out loud to Steve and couldn't... kept getting choked up! Sitting here with tears in my eyes, so happy for you all - and just a smidge envious! Here we are at almost the start of another adventure for Emily... her senior year and college exploration. At the end of this adventure, we'll have to let her go on her own out into the world. Thank God Annie's only 10 and we get to hold onto her for a little while longer! It's so great that you're taking us all along with you on this amazing journey to Rosie. It's bringing back such memories of our own two trips!
